We track the score.
We host nothing.
Crackwatch is a news and community platform. We report that a game has been cracked, when it happened, and which scene group was credited — the same way a sports site reports a final score. That is where it ends.
1. No files. No links. No exceptions.
This site does not host, store, mirror, distribute, link to, or help you obtain any cracks, cracked games, torrents, magnet links, key generators, serial keys, or copyrighted files — none, anywhere on this platform. Every page here is informational. The store links we show point only to official, legal storefronts.
2. What we are
- A status tracker — cracked / uncracked / DRM-free, with dates and time-to-crack stats
- A news feed of release-scene events and milestones
- A community for discussion, watchlists and predictions
- An encyclopedia of DRM technology and scene history
3. What we are not
- A download site or file host
- A torrent index or tracker
- A source of cracks, keygens or pirated games
- Affiliated with, or representing, any release group
4. How to think about it
A weather service tells you it’s raining — it doesn’t make the rain. A box-office chart tells you a film earned a billion dollars — it doesn’t sell you a ticket. Crackwatch works the same way: we observe and report publicly available information about the release scene. Reporting that an event happened is journalism, not participation in it.
5. Love a game? Buy it.
Tracking the scene and supporting developers are not in conflict. If a game is worth your time, it’s worth your money — buy it on an official storefront, wishlist it, tell a friend. The best way to keep great games coming is to pay the people who make them.
6. Rights holders
We respect intellectual property. If you represent a rights holder and believe a specific informational entry is inaccurate or should be removed, contact the site administrators through our official channels and we’ll review it promptly. Because we host no files, there is nothing to take down — but we’re always happy to correct the record.
